Day 1

So far Dr Sutton and I survived 3 airports, various timezones, and the ongoing security theater. I'm posting from the lovely Mauger B&B Inn

Their wireless is free, they keep cookies in the lobby, and massive, massive pillows in the rooms:

There's a ton of nice restaurants around - we kept it simple for tonight, since we were beat and went to a sandwich place. Really tasty, tho!



Tomorrow, we're getting up at 8ish for breakfast, then we'll mosey over to the conference hotel and check out various panels. There's a book show to poke our noses into, as well...that'll be nice, check out titles, grab (any) free schwag. Get a feel for the whole thing.

Our panel is Thursday, at about 3:30, 3:45 if memory serves. I'm about to go take a look at the program and see what's in store for tomorrow. That's about it for now - I'm a sleepy, sleepy zombie lady, so I'm leaving this for tonight :)
